Hey guys, I'm getting pretty close to 4800 IP and was hoping I could grab malzahar or swain. Here's what I am looking for in the champ -Fun to play -Wont get boring -Able to get kills and not just provide CC for your team
Malzahar looks pretty cool though. But Swain turns into a giant bird. Im kinda leaning towards malzahar. Please leave your thoughts
literally destroys a lot of people with his absurd pushing power and has nice 100-0 potential with a bullshit ultimate (nowhere as bullshit as 
though)
He is really fun and overall a cool character
aka the Freelo Bird, your wave control pre-6 sucks but you don't give a fuck because you eat half of your opponent's health for no reason while never running out of mana. Once you hit 6, you can literally walk in the middle of their team with your built-in 225% spell vamp ultimate (
)
I honestly think is a fucking toxic champion and the less people that play him the better, so grab
This is how to counter Swain: 
swain doesnt get boring and is tons of fun malzahar is pretty boring for the most part unless youre 15 kills ahead
Personally, I'm a fan of Swain. He does a lot of single-target DPS and wades through teamfights without much issue (unless they have Grevious Wounds, or you run out of mana). He can be a great bully against melee champions and can easily kite many bruisers with his Q while healing through any damage they deal. Between his passive and his ultimate, he has a lot of lane sustain as well.
Malzahar can waveclear safely from range and can murder tanks/bruisers while also locking down assassins. However, I find that it's really hard to pull off your full combo due to the abundance of CC/mobility and (if you don't have your ultimate) you don't really have any self-peel or escapes. His ultimate can also take some getting used to so you don't accidently cancel it.
I play malz and here is my 2 sense. He is a good counter to melee champs, and is really boring because of that. Now I think that malz can be boring because all you do is press e on a minion when you have enough ap to spread that visions. After laning he gets really fun. Your combo can drop anyone with 3k health or less. and your wave clears is awesome. He doesn't have mobility so that is a problem, just make sure you ward.
