Reporting Using Champion Lobby and After Game Chats

I am not sure if Riot has intended on recording the chat before and after the game for any verbal abuse or offensive language. I am told that they only look at in game chat and determine the consequences on the severity of the language used. I am hoping that Riot (and if you can please as soon as possible) can record the before and after game chat logs so that we have evidence for why we report the rude people playing and those going against the Terms of Service. I am probably not the first person to ask of this, because frankly after 5 seasons we would hope that this issue could have been resolved by now. I am just tired of seeing people be verbally abusive in chat because a) they don't get the role they want or b) they just want to be mean and to show off how "good" they are as a player. I have played this game for many years and League is actually the first game I played on my PC, and I don't want to stop playing on the accounts of players being mean to other players because it makes them feel good.

Is there any development or can there be some development so that the before and after chat logs are recorded? I just feel that sometimes a person is verbally abusive prior to the game and doesn't say anything at all in game and I can't report the person because I have no proof. I just want the community to remain positive and not let those players who take the Tribunal for granted. And as well, make the overall experience before and after the game less overwhelming.

Thank you for reading my opinion on this matter. Hopefully Riot if you can do something about the chats before and after the games, it would help a lot. Any opinions on this matter is welcomed and hopefully we can get a good discussion about this issue.

I too would like an answer from Riot about this as well. It seems like anyone can get away with anything in the post and pre-game lobby and it's quite frankly unfair. Having team members harrasing, spamming or just being rude and uncooperative to others in pre-game then causing a loss but not saying anything in-game. No way to report that at all?

What'sworse in my eyes is that players, like myself, who want to avoid the negativity and toxicity in the community at large. Are actively punished for wanting to get out of the games that fuel the behaviour. Can't quit the lobby without being punished as they are free to go back into the queue and continue doing the same thing without repucussion. Ingame if I feel like I just want to leave... I can't due to arbitrary 20 minute surrender limits that can and more than likely will be denied due to a likely duo scenario or being chastised by everyone else for wanting to leave. I shouldn't feel forced to stay because of one or two bad apples that started off the game in the worst way possible.

I'm not exactly calling for a reform on the surrender timers, as I get that they are there for competitive reasons. But a mute button in-game and no pre or post-game logging / reporting options is unacceptable at this time. There should in my eyes for non-ranked playlists be a "this guy is toxic" type button. Obviously it could be abused by 4 men parties if it were just a simple vote to kick. But for someone who suffers from panic attacks and minor anxiety attacks I would appreciate it if there was a button that allowed us to back out of pre-game lobbies with a "leave and report". Or even a mid-game report that allowed those who are genuiely feeling the strain, to leave the game and move on without the harsh punishments that are currently handed out to people who just don't want to be in a room full of toxic players.

And as a final note, I know the systems could be abused. But at this stage in the games life cycle there has to be something that protects players at all stages of the game rather than just an end game report that may result in a punishment for the offending player. Because it's not always guranteed that it will and just a report won't get back the time wasted dealing with these people for a fixed time.

I hope someone at Riot reads this, and thanks for the time taken to read this.
