I have been wonder about the New Rift since the preview of it,and I am curious about one thing; Why does Blue have a stag and Red have an Owl? I understand that Red is more magic and Blue is more warrior-like,but Why the Stag and Owl to represent the teams? *As a big fan of lore,it bugs me not to know. *

Ah, you mean the Owl and Stag Sigils in middle lane?

During the Summoner's Rift Preview video, the female narrator clarifies and answers a lot of questions. At the 3:00 minute mark, the narrator explains the animal motifs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiSNHAJHu-c

I guess the two animals represent the themes that the two sides share?

The Stag is a strong, sturdy beast, representing the 'Paladin' themed blue side.

Where as the Owl is a wise, clever animal, representing the 'Mage' themed red side.

Other than that, I have no clue as to why Riot exactly chose the two.

Where do you see the symbols of them?
