3rd Party Programs

Can anyone tell me what would be considered a 3rd party program. My account was banned "permanently" (I plan to get this fixed since I wasn't aware of having an advantage from a 3rd party program and therefore I should be able to fix my problem fairly easily). I used curse voice like..twice? and Elophant client once cuz I realized it just gives me info I could look up. I don't think any of these are illegal nor do they even link to gameplay change. Curse voice was riot approved, I believe? So if anyone can list off other 3rd party programs that could be confused as a convenience please do tell me so I can get rid of it. Also seeing as how my smurfs I've played on with the exact same things open havent been banned I can only assume I had a virus maybe?

Anything that overlays or interacts with the game after you hit "Play". It's kind of broad and most Riot doesn't mind. Curse Voice is approved now, but there was a short time between when they banned it yet players wouldn't get punished yet and when it was still banned but the grace period was over and was bannable (not a very long span of time). Idk if Elophant is on the ban list, I bet a good search could find out.
