What's the deal with people hating and not helping Bronze players. And yes, I know the answer to why people won't, but let's just assume something here. The idea that all bronze players are bad, is somewhat, but not completely true. I know from experience my friends are in bronze 1, but know the game better than a lot of Gold players I know. They just can't apply it. I know that's my case, although I'm no where near gold level. My point it, bronze players aren't necessarily bad, and they really don't deserve all the hate they get, and the amount of ignoring they get for any opinion they have. This includes Riot sadly. No borders? Nothing cool for being in bronze? It makes sense, but it also doesn't. We play this game just like others, and it sucks knowing that because we aren't as good at the game, we don't deserve to be recognized as players. I'm not saying we should get anything, I just think we as a community need to work on including bronze players into the community better.

I'm sorry but rewarding a player in bronze is basically the same as giving out a participation prize and that shit needs to stop. Too many games these days give anyone and everyone a prize for simply showing up.

You guys are missing the point entirely. You don't have to reward bronze players, I don't really care about that. I'm just saying that Riot needs to include them more into the community.

Bronze players are players who aren't simply that great at the Game. and if your upset with not getting any rewards for getting in bronze, Then get out of it

The reason Bronze players don't get a border is because you can feed every single game, lose every single game, and purposely throw every single game and, guess what? You can't drop lower than Bronze. I could see if doing things like this just plain kicked you off the ladder, but unfortunately, it doesn't.

I personally don't hate on Bronze players. Rather, I choose not to hate on anyone. But, if I'm in a game with you and you just plain ignore your team, have 5 cs at 10 minutes, or repeatedly die and blame others for it, I'm probably going to yell at you after the game or tell you to go practice whatever it is you're doing wrong. We all make mistakes, that's a fact. I see Diamond 1 players making mistakes that a Bronze 1 would make, and that's just part of life. What separates Diamond 1 from Bronze 1 is the fact that they [generally] make those mistakes less often, know how to come back from them, and know how to punish others for making them.

But, getting back to my initial point, sorry but you won't be seeing borders or icons for Bronze unless Riot makes it possible to drop out of Bronze.
