What's the deal with people hating and not helping Bronze players. And yes, I know the answer to why people won't, but let's just assume something here. The idea that all bronze players are bad, is somewhat, but not completely true. I know from experience my friends are in bronze 1, but know the game better than a lot of Gold players I know. They just can't apply it. I know that's my case, although I'm no where near gold level. My point it, bronze players aren't necessarily bad, and they really don't deserve all the hate they get, and the amount of ignoring they get for any opinion they have. This includes Riot sadly. No borders? Nothing cool for being in bronze? It makes sense, but it also doesn't. We play this game just like others, and it sucks knowing that because we aren't as good at the game, we don't deserve to be recognized as players. I'm not saying we should get anything, I just think we as a community need to work on including bronze players into the community better.

I'm sorry but rewarding a player in bronze is basically the same as giving out a participation prize and that shit needs to stop. Too many games these days give anyone and everyone a prize for simply showing up.

You guys are missing the point entirely. You don't have to reward bronze players, I don't really care about that. I'm just saying that Riot needs to include them more into the community.

Bronze players are players who aren't simply that great at the Game. and if your upset with not getting any rewards for getting in bronze, Then get out of it

That's just a horrible generalization, in my opinion. As previously stated, some players just get clamped because it's not always possible to carry people who do not want to be carried.

It's not always possible. I've seen quite a few people (including friends) who got into their Bronze 1 promo games, and they got paired with low silvers who just constantly fed. And I'm not talking about a 0/4/2 Nidalee, I'm talking about things like 0/13/2 Lee Sins and the likes. You can't always just group them together.

You're telling me that you can carry out of the worst case scenario? i.e. all 4 other members are purposely feeding, and you can win? I highly doubt it's "always" possible. I've played and spectated enough games where more than half the team purposely fed to tell you, that it's not "always possible".

It is not possible to carry every game. What I meant is it will ALWAYS be possible to carry oneself out of bronze, from the moment your win ratio is over 50% you will do it. Just need to step up the play. If I could do it with jungle mundo, anyone can do it with almost any champ. Although i dont like Poopy Poppy .

Ok First, I'm not about to believe that every game you get into theres always feeders. If that is the case that EVERY single game you get into, then you need to duo or something. Second, There isn't always 4 feeders and you're the only one that didn't feed. That isn't logical, having 1 feeder is fine, if you're good then it should be easy. People have won 4v5 games before solely off there main carries getting fed. "Choose "op", High Mobility champs, that way once you win your lane, you can quickly go to others and help them" [NightBlue3 Quote] You can always play adc, which is kinda the easiest way to carry, a fed adc can really turn a game around with there high damage. So that is just not logical thinking, and is the reason why your "friend" is still stuck in bronze.Bronze is made up of feeders/smurfs/actual new people thats getting into rank, do not expect bronze to play that of gold, (but expect vice versa once you reach gold lol) What im saying is if you truly do not belong in bronze, you will be able to carry your way out.

And, as I said before, it's not always possible. That's not saying that every game has 4 feeders, I don't even know where you read that. And it's not saying that every game even has a feeder, don't know where you saw that either. I'm saying that sure, you can carry your way out. But it's not a 100% of the time thing. And if you're not plat-diamond level in your thinking, you likely won't win your promos in a streak in the first run unless you manage to get ADC every single game.

The point isn't winning every game. The point is to win more than you lose. That's why it's ALWAYS possible. It's not possible to win every game but its possible to win more than you lose. Everyone is talking about getting out of bronze, not about individual games. You're simply missing the point. No one wins every game, pros can sometimes lose some too due to everyone else feeding.

The reason Bronze players don't get a border is because you can feed every single game, lose every single game, and purposely throw every single game and, guess what? You can't drop lower than Bronze. I could see if doing things like this just plain kicked you off the ladder, but unfortunately, it doesn't.

I personally don't hate on Bronze players. Rather, I choose not to hate on anyone. But, if I'm in a game with you and you just plain ignore your team, have 5 cs at 10 minutes, or repeatedly die and blame others for it, I'm probably going to yell at you after the game or tell you to go practice whatever it is you're doing wrong. We all make mistakes, that's a fact. I see Diamond 1 players making mistakes that a Bronze 1 would make, and that's just part of life. What separates Diamond 1 from Bronze 1 is the fact that they [generally] make those mistakes less often, know how to come back from them, and know how to punish others for making them.

But, getting back to my initial point, sorry but you won't be seeing borders or icons for Bronze unless Riot makes it possible to drop out of Bronze.

Again, missing my point friend. The inclusion of the borders comment was just further support for what Riot is doing to NOT include Bronze players. Sure they could give us borders, and I agree that wouldn't solve anything, but we deserve to be part of the community, rather than just shoved off and ignored like most bronzes usually are. Sorry for the confusion if you didn't understand my whole point of this <3

I think he's meaning less in terms of Riot's treatment and more in regards to how Bronze ranked players are generally treated by the rest of the community that isn't Bronze? For example, I watch and evaluate League a lot more then I actually play it because I have a difficult time implementing all of the game sense and such that I possess across the entire team and my individual play. However, often times you'll run across discussions or situations where anything a Bronze player says as far as game knowledge or champion builds or balancing is immediately disregarded simply because that person is in Bronze. Maybe that's along the lines of what the OP is referring to?

Kira is still not getting it frankly. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE BORDERS >.< Riot and the community treats the bronze players as if they are not part of the community. Riot not as much, but it still happens. Pun you have a fair point and you're exactly right. Just because I can't apply my knowledge about the game, doesn't mean I'm bad or don't know about the game. Nothing a bronze player says is counted in the slightest, except that the people who "suck" think this so it's not true.

I'm not in Ranked yet because I want to make sure I have a champion I am good at and am comfortable playing. I was actually mentioning twice that and Viktor are actually pretty good champions and are underplayed in ranked games when they are actually REALLY good (my best match with Mordekaiser was 23/9, playing against a hypercarrying Lucien. Both of our teams sucked, but I ended up hypercarrying and winning the match.) One person said that their low mobility made them useless in the new meta (which is total bull... Who needs mobility when I can 3v1 at 30% and win?) and another asked me my league, and literally just shrugged me off because I'm not personally in ranked.

My advice however, is constantly shrugged off because I'm not in Gold or Platinum. I'm not an amazing league player, but I've played a lot of matches, and sure, I don't play in Ranked (yet) but I have had some matches that made me realize the Meta is a stable way to win matches, but isn't always reliable.

I know it's not possible as the community as a whole to do this, because you can't change people's minds easily. All I'm asking is that people realize that Bronze players don't deserve the horrible blame/hate they get for being not as good. It all starts with an idea xD (EDIT) Also I'd like to maybe see a little more catering towards bronze players. Help them get better, and if they don't like it, don't help, because we all know that one player who will not accept any help from any source.

That's reasonable. I'm honestly not sure why people blame/hate Bronze when a lot of Silver and low Gold are equally as bad (some worse). They're not always in Bronze because they can't "carry themselves out", sometimes they're there because other players won't allow it.

Only thing I could say there is the top 4 tiers (gold and up) includes some 10% players, and the 90% remaining are bronze or silver. Maybe this system could be reworked somehow? Add a plastic and a cardboard tier???

What I mean is that they are disregarded as having a say. They don't "count" in the long run, because we aren't above a certain threshold. It's kind of stupid obviously, but that's how it's been even since the numbered elo days. This goes even past opinions and such as well.

Riot has specifically said that they DON'T balance the game off the top 10% players. They try to average the game so that EVERYONE can play it. And they've repeatedly said this multiple times. Riot doesn't disregard bronze players. The community does. You want Riot to help bronze players to gain respect in the community not from Riot themselves. There should really be nothing cool for being in bronze. No game gives you something cool for being bad (unless they're selling it, exception).

The community will always bag on bronze players. How can they not? You are in bronze mostly because you're not as good as the rest in the community. This statement is MOST likely true. I rarely except for once or twice see a bronze players that's better than me in mechanics or concept, they just like to think they are. However i do admit there are two or three. This game is competitive. I don't believe in giving out participation prizes (that shit's throwing this country into a pansy bitch nation). Simply work harder.

That's wonderful but this thread is less about getting out and actually asking for people to have some moderate amount of decency to lower bracket players (the only people I do not respect in higher brackets are 'smurfs' because I don't like the idea of smurfing itself. You want to practice your game? Go play against other players in unranked matches, making an alternative account to 'hone' your skills on lower level players is disgusting.)
