Support change on season 4

Personally I think increasing or reducing gold on support is no help at all. In my OPINION I think that when a support places a ward ONLY in jungle and like some range away from lanes, they should be rewarded like 50 gold for each enemy champion that is spotted in the warded area! It will not work if an allied champion is in the warded area before an enemy champion appears. That is just my opinion. Maybe the same amount of gold goes to the jungler in the team. Please I don't want your rude comments back at me. That will most likely just tick me off. All I want to hear is your expansion on this idea and polite replies whether this would work or not. NOTE: I HAVE NOT MADE ANY CALCULATIONS OR ANYTHING THAT WOULD PROOF THIS WOULD WORK OR NOT

I've toyed with this idea as well. One of the biggest issues I see with it is that it becomes something that would be desirable not only for supports, but for anybody on the team. That's really one of the biggest challenges facing the team as they attempt to make adjustments to supports for Season 4, regardless of what they hit on. How can they make a change that will help supports, without them being desirable (or even optimal) for all champions, and not just supports?

On the plus side, if this were implemented, you'd probably see everybody on the team actually warding some for themselves. And in useful spots, no less.

But there are a lot of other mechanics that would need to be thought through to make this really work. Do you have a cooldown on the gold gain? would it be per ward or per... area of vision (can they get double the reward for dropping two wards)? Would you require the support to be a certain distance away from the ward to get the reward (so they can't just spam drop wards during fights in the jungle to get a bunch of bonus gold)?

I could see someone dropping a ward far back in a lane just to always get the recalls or deaths when the enemy comes back. Interesting idea though. I more of think League needs to adopt a more persistent gold gain in the game in general. I don't mean per second or whatever, but if you are nearby a minion death, you should get a minor amount of gold regardless, or maybe only when nearby a minion death at the hands of another teammate. Smite does something similar to this and I think it works amazingly to create a more fair gameplay and not feel like you aren't participating.

I wanna know how they intend to detect when someone plays a champ that is not by default a support, being played in a support role. Like Nunu. He is not designated as support, but he is played as one fairly often.
