Afk's and elo system

Not to bash on the elo system, because it is a great system but not flawless. Most would agree that the majority of players cant win a 4 v. 5 unless you are better at League of Legends then most other players. Whether its from the toxic/rage player who seems like they're out there to ruin your game purposely, or the player who just never connects in the first place. Was just wondering the possibility of another system (other than the tribunal) to be put in place to justify the poor lads who were forced to carry on this game. Please leave feedback I'd love to hear why this idea is good or bad.
