Ekko "cheating death"?

When Ekko is killed, he never actually dies, he pulls out his timewinder and just disappears into thin air. If i'm correct, i believe Ekko is the second champion that fakes death other than .

I've always believed that Zed's animation is his shadow dragging him away to an even worse fate.

I really dislike that, because then you can't accurately stand on the body to check what they are buying while they wait to respawn. And the satisfsatisfaction of them lying face down after a fight is nice
