Ranked Placement

Alright, before I get started I would like to say that I do not claim to be the best or even close to the best at league of legends. Now for my issue. We have all had to go through ranked placement now that the new season is among us. I love the idea of resetting the ladders every season simply because it SHOULD bring hope that we who are stuck in "Bronze hell" can climb out had we worked hard enough to become better players and team members ourselves. Sadly this is not the case...I always try my best in ranked games and give my all. When i fail I study up on builds and strategies, as well as work on my temperament to be a better team player and summoner. (Note: My grammar is terrible as is my spelling so forgive me, BUT that does not dampen the validity of this post) I say all of this because despite my efforts I am again in Bronze 4 tier. Why? Because league of legends places you not on your individual skill level, but at that of the TEAMS you are placed with. I went positive nearly every placement match and yet a loss is a loss. I feel that this is unfair to those of us who really try in ranked to be better players and climb the ladders with people at a caliber of which we can enjoy playing with. Does anyone else feel this way? Is there anything being done about this? Any suggestions on my game play as well as what this is about are more than welcome. As I said I don't mind the criticism because I like to better myself as a summoner. As always happy gaming and thank you!
