Rotatable/ Adjustable Camera Controls

On every map that is currently present in the game, It would appear that both teams have an equal chance for victory, and that no team has an advantage over the other in map design. This is not true, as the current camera setup and camera control is drastically different for each team. The blue team, which is placed at the bottom left of the map, has a significant advantage over the purple team, which is placed at the top right portion of the map.

Blue team players are able to see farther away from their champion, as there is no UI on their screen that obstructs their view of the top of the map. Purple team players on the other hand, have their view of the lower map obstructed by the large UI, that even though adjustable in size, leaves much to be desired, as the UI is essential to success in battle.

I propose that an adjustable or rotatable camera feature is implemented into the game in a future update. One other possible approach to this problem would be to give every player in the match a camera perspective of the spawning base in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, as to provide a more balanced and fair gaming experience.

I would like to be able to lock my camera wherever I want. IE, I'm playing on purple side and want to lock my screen with my champion towards the top so I see more of bottom lane.

Well, I see your point, but what if we could flip our scores and skill UI, for instance, all our skill leveling, maybe the mini-map and items would be at the top of the screen. This isn't me asking for a change from how the UI is set up, but what if we could choose to place where the skills, mini-map etc. are placed? We could go into settings and maybe something like: Skills - Bottom Score - Top Right Mini-map - Bottom Right Through this maybe a drop down menu will come and we select the placement, however the main error with this is that people may accidentally place two thing on top of each other, such as the Chat on the mini-map... this is just a suggestion, but the hard working team at Riot may find a way to make it work.

Suggestions like this have spawned many threads in the old forums, and there are several well thought out ideas that would alleviate purple's suffering a bit, but Riot response is always to hem and haw about one thing or another, giving a vague, easily disproved response.

There is a very solid reason that Riot doesn't address camera issues: Riot Hates Purple.

I always hate getting purple side because of this. I agree that there is an obvious advantage to blue side. This is clearly seen when you use the skill shot indicator (smart cast turned off). If you are on blue side, you can usually see the entire indicator if you position it in front of you. However on purple side, the indicator is cut off, and you are required to constantly readjust your camera to be able to skill shot effectively.

However, blue side is only superior on summoner's rift and howling abyss. The maps of TT and Dominion are horizontal, so both sides are equal.

I agree, to implement an option for camera orientation would solve many problems relating to 'Blue vs Purple". The only reason i see for them to NOT do it is because some people might keep the camera sideways or something and somehow have an advantage
