Does someone mind telling me what the FUCK riot is doing with consumables and death timers?

Like 6 patches ago, these fuckos buffed when you buy a consumable during death, the timer will WAIT until you spawn. Why in the FUCK!!!!!!!!!!??!??!?!!!? starting like 4 patches ago, have the consumable timers begun to start DURING DEATH? You know how ANNOYING that is to spend 500 gold on something and watch it waste away after these pissants promised they would begin at spawn?

It's little things like this that make me wonder if Riot actually knows what the hell theyre doing. There have been multiple questionable things going on like the removal of greenwards, mana not instantly filling in the fountain, and a whole bunch of shit I can't remember off the top of my head.

What's going on here?
