hi,

i cant play atm. it shows me the chat of my last game but nothing else. i played today one or 2 games, not sure, and the last time i did it before was months ago. so i dont play very much. my level is 26 now. i never had a punishment before and now i received a 14 days ban from one game to another? people flame me in game and when i talk back i get banned for 14 days? is that fair? what happened to lol?

the funny thing is... i have time now to play and in the morning when i played my mouse was a bit buggy and old. so i go and buy a new one, then come back to home, install it and was about to play a game and now i received this. i am quite sure the discussion here will not bring my account back to it, but is this normal?

can someone check this? ty.

I would have reported this in a heartbeat, no question. If you haven't had any previous punishments and received a two week ban it's because the offense was deemed severe enough to immediately escalate to a suspension, and your next blatant outburst like that might result in a permanent ban.

The point of the reporting system is that the activity of other players isn't reflected in how a particular case is viewed. Our very own Ulanopo has a perfect analogy for this, and I'll paraphrase:

Timmy, Tommy, and Sarah are in an elevator. Timmy gets mad and craps himself, so Tommy craps himself in response. Sarah is now stuck in the elevator with two smelly idiots instead of just one.

Retaliation is not acceptable, because it changes the dynamic from being one person shouting into thin air to two people arguing with each other and escalating the situation. I know that seems unfair, but if someone is being toxic to you and you're just as toxic back you will both be treated the same way.

Also yes, if you flame back you can expect to get banned. RIOT expects us all to be the bigger person and not respond to toxic teammates.

EDIT: That said, I'm sorry you got banned, it sucks :( and those teammates were awful to each other. I wouldn't be surprised if at least 3 of them got 14 day bans. I hope that you can take comfort knowing that the dicks got banned too.

EDIT EDIT: Whoah dude, that was all you? Of course that is normal! You said stuff like, "I don't care about this game," and "This team doesn't deserve me / deserve to win." All of that is very toxic, selfish and self centered. Of course you earned a ban. You shouldn't act superior to teammates, that really screws up teamwork and cooperation. Especially if you insult them.

Yes, this is normal. What you said in the chat log was pretty toxic. You were saying things like " fu noobs " , I wouldn't want that in my game.
