Alternative methods of obtaining RP
I thought I would share this with the community just in case some weren't aware of these methods of getting RP besides charging their debit/credit card or having to go to a store to buy a gamecode.
This isn't a "visit this site for free RP" post, no method is that easy & don't ever trust these because they are just trying to obtain your login information to sell your account.
Riot added the ability to use giftcards from various establishments (Subway, CVS, Burger King, Dollar General, Shell, & Circle K).
Obviously, if you have some laying around & never plan on using them, then go to the Client > Store > Purchase RP > Gift Cards.
If not, a few sites allow you to obtain these. I will go ahead & cover which are the best options.
SwagBucks
Used mainly this site for the longest time. Lots of opportunities for big earnings in a short amount of time in the form of surveys, watching ads, trials, & using their site while shopping online at pretty much any company.
The easiest methods:
Free Trials - Some stuff I actually ended up using regularly like Amazon Prime, Hulu, Spotify, CBS (Twilight Zone episodes), etc. The only catch here is to wait until you get your SB (credits) then cancel before the trial is over (this method offers the quickest/most at once). Also make sure you research the trial to make sure you can cancel online because having to call (while usually is a 5 minute ordeal) can be annoying. DON'T do ANY credit report trials!
**Surveys **- Some can be time consuming but with this method there is no risk & all reward. Highly advise focusing on short time length but high credit surveys.
Shop & Earn - Basically rewards you with credits (1 credit per dollar but most have bonuses up to 7 credits per dollar) when shopping online. Anytime I order anything (Target, Amazon, Ebay, Newegg), I make sure to login & go through this method so I can earn easy credits. Only downside is sometimes the store/site will only reward based on categories (Ex: Men's clothing only, Health products, etc.)
The crap method:
Ads - Takes way too long for little reward (like 10 minutes of ads for 2 credits... No.)
Harris Poll Online
Recently stumbled on this gem of a site that rewards you for completing surveys. They pretty much send you 1 or 2 a day but you can almost always reuse the same link in the email & get another survey. Best aspect of this site is they offer a huge selection of different rewards, not just gift cards (if you dont need RP but want to use your credits on something else).
Surveys - Only method of earning credits here, if you don't qualify for a survey (takes about 30 secs to find out), you still get some credit.
Takes 625 credits for a $5 giftcard & the lowest survey is 50 credits. I generally make enough for a $10 giftcard here a week if I actually do them instead of deleting / skipping (much easier to do like 1 - 2 a day vs cramming them all in one day because it gets boring / repetitive).
I would get the Amazon giftcards & buy a RP card off there because Riot just pulled Sports Authority off the accepted cards (which is the only one HarrisPoll offered)
Bing Rewards Program
Rewards you for using their search engine after logging into your Bing Rewards account, it's that easy. You can only make a daily amount but can generally make $10 every week and a half or so.
Easiest way to complete the daily is to create a bookmarks folder, place a bunch of random sites in it, then just open the whole folder at once.
You can also have up to 5 accounts (per family member at same household) but I would advise against this. I myself tried it & while it was good while it lasted, I'm now banned from using Bing Rewards. Having like 2 or 3 shouldn't flag you, just don't go overboard with any more accounts.
I would avoid any of the other sites or methods out there at the moment. I've tried quite a few & none offer as much as the ones I've listed above, if I do (or any of you) stumble across any more I will update this thread. I can also answer any questions if needed.
