I remember when riot support was personal, and actually provided assistance. Back in s2, early s3, you could submit a ticket, and a support staff member would be assigned to your case, and greet you personally within the day, maybe a little longer. They would take time to address your issue, and answer all questions and concerns regarding your support ticket. Every ticket was personally handled until you decided to close your ticket.

Now, every support ticket takes 2/3 days to get a response. When it you hear back, its a canned response 90% of the time, just some robot scanning your ticket for root words and copy pasting prewritten answers that relate to your issue. Some times, its so obvious that this happens, your ticket can have absolutely nothing to do with the response written.

When you do get a human, they are dismissive, bluntly answer your issue, or plain dont care about solving your issue.

For example: I submitted a ticket: I play 22 games on a brand new smurf. 22 games, teaching people how to play, getting honored, getting thanked, being constructive, leading the team to victory, ect. Model community member. Game 23 comes around, bad day, dc at start, come back 5 mins in and 50 cs behind, in a role i wasnt comfortable in because someone instalocked, enemy kalista was scripting, team wouldnt group or cooperate, ect. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. On my end, I still tried to shotcall, give advice, ect. However, pissed off, i got a little critical of my teamates, as they were harassing me and i lost my patience. Things along the line of "you are so bad" "i wish you knew how to read" which is pretty damn tame.

Game ends, 14 day ban. Wait that cant be right? 22/23 games of being a leader and a model community member and one game gets me a 2 weeker? There were no "hot words" used like "retard, fggot, ngger" which are autodetected by riots new ban system.

Please pull my chat logs if you need to, Im almost 100% positive i was pretty tame in my negativity.

The support staff member linked my chat logs and said: This type of behavior is not acceptable and is why the suspension was placed. When there is nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. If you do not show any tendency toward improving your behavior, you may see harsher punishments. +++++++++++++++++ I responded: I know this though, its just one game. Can you look @ the chat logs of me being an exemplary player for 22/23 games? That ratio, with ZERO WARNING, i might add, its a little insane

Can you change this to a warning since it IS my first offence, and i have exhibited exemplary behavior up until said game?

Now, 4 days later, nothing. Basically, fuck you we dont have to help you, we're just gonna ignore you for 2 weeks until your ban is up. Sucks to be you.

Unlike how i stated above, the ticket started out great, which hasnt happened to me in the past 10+ tickets I submitted, they have been more like the last responce, waiting for 4 days for nothing.

Whats going on with riot support?

Hard to have a one-on-one personal response when millions of people play the game every day

over 36 mil people each month, lets say .10% get banned monthly (that's .10% so .0010, that's tenth of a percent) so 36k accounts every month. 20% of those send the same email as you. (7.2k emails) Personal reports lets say take 1 min to respond to each. (5days). That would take 5 full days non stop to send a one minute personal response to each person. But what report takes 1 min to solve? They have to look up your summoner name, find your logs, scan your logs, and then determine punishment. So lets say it takes 7 min per email. (so 35 days of non stop emails to perosnally handle 20% of the .1% of players.

See now?

If you got 14 day banned you would have gotten an email with logs.
