Mmr rest

Hey I am a D5 jungle main. After getting my rewards I played some raked games and got demoted to plat 1. I know it is because my mmr is trash in all but, I don't get what I am doing wrong in my games. I get a 5-7 k gold lead to my team and then somthing goes off in my teams brain that is to go in 1v5 and die. But my real question is riot will you be doing a full mmr rest? I know I am not the only person that would benefit and even that good players ( which I am not) can work on getting an even better mmr. I would appreciate it if you could do I can fix my mmr. Thank you.

What they have done in the past and more than likely will do again is a soft reset. I believe it was something along the lines of it gets reset to halfway between your current MMR and 1250 MMR (don't quote me on this number, but I think it's right) So if you're 1750 it will be reset to about 1500.

I'm in the same boat here. What I am about to tell you will probably blow your mind though. I was G5 at the end of last season, won 5/10 placements and get placed in S4. No big deal I haven't played any ranked in the off season so my skill has probably diminished playing with my friends who are mostly bronze/silver. So after placing in S4, I get into game and I look it up on LOLNexus and every single person is bronze 3 or lower. Why!?

This has been the same in every single game that I have played in ranked since the start of S5 and to be honest you think it would be easy, but my teams get steamrolled before I am able to do anything productive at all and laning phase lasts about 8-12 minutes before I have to start roaming before we lose an inhibitor turret. Its almost like I get the worst players in bronze on my team and the other team gets the best. I just don't get it at all. I think I have played 1 game out of about 15 where I didn't want to smash my keyboard after.

I would love to see a option to buy a once per season Ranked MMR reset. Where it sets your MMR back to as if you have never played ranked and you have to go through placements again. This would be a 1 time per season thing to prevent people from just resetting and hoping to get carried.
