I lose lp because someone on my team disconnected?

Why should i be penalized ,via losing league points, when someone on my team disconnects or afks? This game is about mastery and outplaying others in a variety of ways. If my team loses because someone dcd or afked then the other team wasnt outplaying us. There really isnt any reason for this change not be implemented. Im sure the league community would love the change. Come on riot, make the change.
