Premades and the new Honor System

Due to the new honor system i've recently been pushed into a game with 4 premades for the last several normal games. Now this wouldn't usually be an issue, just mute them and move on. The game goes on fine. However at the end of the game, i never get a single honour. No matter if i carried or if i came-back from getting camped, nothing. Maybe i didn't deserve a honor in most of those games, since someone always played better than me, but still i think it needs to be really clear to premades that when they honor their friends that it's worth basically nothing. When i play with my premades i usually choose a player that isn't with us (as long as they deserved it obviously) just because i can acknowledge that honoring your mates is pointless.

Basically what i'm trying to say is that there should be a little message or something when you are with premades that the honor is worth less.

Honoring premades has little impact, and Riot said honors aren't required to get to level 3. The only thing honor really does is the message/visual thing at the lobby when you get 3 and later that other thing when you're level 3+ for a single game when you get 3+ honors.

lol so cuz someone didnt think you were worthy of honor in their opinion (not yours) you say its a flaw in the game and the honor system due to premades?

honor is something that is suppose to be selective and rare other wise it means jack shit.

I think you didn't finish reading. My point wasn't at the fact that nobody honored me, it was mainly about making the fact that honoring premades is fairly pointless however not given enough attention so people are trying to farm it. I want riot to inform premades that honoring each other has little to no actual gain.

so what difference does it make... do you not think riot was aware of this and put this into the algorithm for key drops/rewards and the whole premade circle jerk ?

The system is fine, people just need to be more aware that what they're doing is pointless.

Obviously however it would be nice if they could notify premade players about this instead of having one reference to this fact and assuming everyone knows

and i guess that is why we have to have warning labels on a coffee cup from mcdonalds that states "caution contents hot"

Everyone knows coffee is hot. Not everyone knows that honoring premades is worthless.

If you read the whole story and the actual situation you are referencing you would know that the situation wasn't as simple. In fact it's a quite interesting situation which i do recommend you read about.

Don't generalize people. I also play with my friends and I rarely honor those idiots.

My apologies. I did say that i also play with friends but don't honor them most of the time but there are a LOT of premades trying to bust the system.
