Alas poor League, I knew ye well.

Well, I've played the game for a long while now. Just read the 5.22 patch notes, and I think today is the day I quit LoL. Unless Riot releases a separate LoL classic from early season 3 to mid season 4 before the map changes and all that. In my eyes the patches aren't just negatively impacting the game, they are flat ruining it. It isn't the same game I fell in love with all those years ago. It went from Mona Lisa to a drawing on the back of a cereal box. I don't think it is "nostalgia vision goggles" or anything either. It has changed in essence and gameplay. It isn't League of Legends anymore. I can't explain it much better than that. It may sound stupid, but Riot is trying to be too involved in the meta. They brought the worst meta that has ever been in place during S5 and are actively attempting to take it out of place. They aren't doing it in the right ways and are feeding into the metas they attempt to destroy.
