I know most people don't like facing a Soraka in lane but holy hell this is ridiculous! You Pick Soraka for early game sustain, so when you more than double her main spell's cd for early game you make her unplayable. I don't want to flame and I've only played League for a few years, but this is the biggest single nerf I've ever seen to one champion.

I feel like she's too good throughout the entire game, not just the early game. As long as she doesnt get caught out, she's good.

I dont think she needs that big a change though. but a 55.4% win rate is pretty nuts

just max your heal...

also soraka will still have fine early healing, except now you actually might be punished for making mistakes.

Here is my suggestion: Revert the changes, increase her W cd by 2 or 3 seconds but make her Q reduce her W cd by 2 or 3 seconds. Result: Soraka is no longer a heal bot and she is now again focused on poking and not so much on safety.

...woah, that uh...thats a lot. That's way harder a nerf than I've ever asked for. I don't think the previous nerfs (the 5-3 second cd) went too far, but this is ridiculous

Uh no. I played her on pbe. She is 100x better then the last nerf. Stop bitching and keep her this way. don't fuck around till lvl 7/8 and you'll be fine. people don't understand what a huge blow 3/4 seconds is on lvl 5.

I don't understand how people here think this is a bigger nerf then a lvl 5 3/4 second CD. that is a 2.2 CD with 45% compared to a 1.1 on 2CD

Considering that her winrate in the first 30 minutes of a game is 58% (not to mention her avg. winrate being 55%), I think nerfing her early game hard is exactly what they're going for. In fact, I think a nerf like this is sorta overdue. Soraka is just too good right now.

I was playing Soraka last night, and the past week or so, feeling as if her W was on a higher cd than it had to be for chain healing in fights. The range is definitely a handicap, which makes up for the amount of healing you can put out.

But this? Damn. 10 seconds at rank one. It takes three points in the spell to put your W a second above the rank one cooldown on live right now, not counting cooldown reduction. Given, this change D O E S buff her at the last rank, giving it a 2 second cooldown, but.. Her early game power and healing from the Q hit passive is going to t a n k.

Edit: Misread, live value at rank five for W is two seconds. So it's simply extending the cooldown early and forcing her to max her heal early on for mid game trades and fights; reduces her early game power.

My personal opinion: Soraka having a 55% win rate is all because she is a good pick for being carried by friends to get boosted.
