IP/RP Conversion.

Dear Riot,

After playing your game quite frequently over the last year and a half and having the opportunity to meet many different other summoners it has come to my attention that there are quite a few people that continue to rack up IP even after purchasing all the champions, runes, and other IP purchasable items.

While it is of course awesome to continue to gather IP, especially for the release of new champions, or the rebuild of a rune page perhaps, there does reach a point where many summoners end up with a large amount of IP that they don't know what to do with, (On a side note, most of my friends buy the bundle when you guys release a new champion anyways, so RP is spent.). Upon, talking to a few of my fellow summoners we had discussed the thought of wondering if it would be possible for Riot to do something like an IP-RP conversion process?

In all honesty, I haven't looked much into the RP cards lately and how much you get per cash/RP, so I wouldn't even know where to begin the conversion, but then again, I'm sure you guys would know. We discussed that even at a large amount of IP per $1.00 RP it would probably still be worth it since many people sit on quite a bit of IP, especially those that have been playing the game faithfully for years.

There's no way you've finished getting all of the champions and runes in a year and a half. I play a ridiculous amount and I'm still not even close.

How do I feel about IP/RP conversion? Meh. I think the whole system needs an update rather than patch in things, because it's been broken since season 3. It was designed for a game with 40 characters, not 126.

I totally agree. I used to get to the point of IP gain where I would just get name changes for the fun of it. This system would be really nice to have. Even with a conversion rate low, it'd give incentive for IP to want to be earned, therefore increasing game time spent. This system can be seen in Hearthstone, play enough and get gold and you can buy packs, process is way slower, but provides a way for those who lack funds to continue to enjoy the game.

As if LoL doesn't already have enough bots running around the place.

What we need is price reduction and RP contents available to purchase with IP, not this.
