There needs to be a detailed guide to beating riven. ~~The mechanics of this champ alone carry so many bad players.~~ This guide would be comparable to the guide to Omega Weapon in FFVIII. Extremely detailed. Comprehensive and comes complete with a hack so its actually possible. so many people fail at it and you end up with a level 10 riven with hydra youmoos and 3 blood thirster's. (Get this champ some mana, some CD's and an ult that doesn't take up an entire lane. Just my opinion). But seriously, all joking, complaining, whatever you want to call it aside, what are some pointers for players to beat riven. Other than hope that the one you are against is terrible at the game and doesn't have his keyboard attached. Otherwise you are going to lose.

I really hope your nerf suggestions are jokes. If she had mana it would take away absolutely every fun aspect of her. Her mechanics are actually pretty hard (very hard) to be played at high level. Theres a lot of animation cancelling and actually though put into how she's played. Yes, sometimes an idiot will play her against a Gnar thats also terrible and will end up fed, but a bad Riven is usually very, very useless.

Honestly, just silence or stun her. Garen is her #1 counter for a reason. He has a really stupid silence that lasts too long for Riven to be able to either kill him or in some situations use her mobility to get away and he's really stupidly tanky and noob friendly and has absolutely no mechanics so unless the Riven is amazing and the Garen is trash, the Riven will just have to farm. Also playing Riven vs tanks isn't very fun lol. Cho'Gath is really easy for her, other than his damn silence. If you had a full tank chogath vs her it would be basically the same thing as Garen.

Btw her ult is super slow and easy to dodge/flash out of.

bro.... riven has her match ups like any other champion. it's all hype in my opinion. i just came from a kennen vs riven match, and oh mam... always the hardest match ups of my life. Still won tho, and gave him middle fingers cause he deserved it.

don't be afraid of rivens, know her combos and skills. learn how to track what skills she has used and when to go in for trades. if youre scared of a riven she/he will automatically own you mentally.
