why do i get blamed for my team mates not helping me?

Yes i do not play top lane. i was gangplank top and volibear was pushing me i couldn't do any thing about it. i asked for help jungle came it didn't do anything and my lane just gets pushed and pushed. i was 0/6/2 the 2 assist were from me going mid to help out. i had 99 minion kills so i had a little feed for 2 items. why is it that i suck when i was being tossed and harassed by vol and i asked for help plenty of times and didn't get any. yes i did have a bad game but do i suck at the game because i was basically alone in top no help with ganks wards even kills? i know im not very good but am i bad just because my team wont help me? please give feed back

It's a team game, if your teammates are to busy getting kills to help you, they should expect you to do bad in your lane.

First, you can't just say "I don't play top lane". If you are going to soloque in normals or ranked you need to be able to play all of the roles with at least a moderate level of proficiency. As far as top lane is concerned, you really shouldn't expect a lot of jungle help or ganks, it's generally left alone unless it's a guaranteed kill or turret, which is why you often here people talking about top lane as a 1v1 island. Just to point something out, you shouldn't need help with wards in your lane. That is your responsibility and while sometimes a jungler might throw a few wards your way they are by no means obligated when they need to ward their and the opposing teams jungle.

All in all, could your team have helped you? Maybe. There isn't any guarantee that your jungler going up there would have helped and there isn't any way to say for certain that your jungler wasn't being more productive elsewhere on the map. As someone that jungles frequently myself, I will often not gank a lane if it's losing as bad as you say yours was. It's better to have that person play safe and try to farm under turret that way you can try to snowball or focus on objectives elsewhere on the map.

ok well i mostly know how to play top and the jungle was going to be top sup but switched to jungle. i asked for help to push back lane i got help once and he missed every thing. i was able to keep vol off of turret but not push lane. poking wasnt doing anything so i minion fed. so i kept asking for help and they wouldn't come even if i didn't get scared and then thrown by vol. he still would have pushed to turret sooner than later. the fact is i tolled them i wasn't able to lane do to being pushed to hard. i gave them the heads start to come help me. i also know i need to get better but the only thing i could do is sit at tower and wait for him to take it. i was ganked 3 time got away twice. my jungle cam over once and the whole team didnt push a lane. and mine happend to be last to be pushed but i started off worse do they still have the right to say it was my fault we lost cuz i couldnt hold lane?
