Does Reporting Really Make a Difference? (Idea)

I have an idea for league's reporting system. There are countless times where my team and the other team will report a player, but we never know what actually happens to them. I think Riot should send the players who reported someone, if that person is actually being punished and with what punishment. I believe if people see that someone is being punished then they will feel more "comfortable" with the league community and see that they are making a difference in cleaning up the league community. I know Riot has their hands full but in my mind this would make league a much better game, as a game is only as good as its community.

And if you do ever implement it maybe make it toggle-able for those who do and don't want to receive these notifications/emails

Since your other post was deleted, I'll repeat myself;

They do have a system for notifying you when your report results in a punishment. I don't know what the specifics are, but sometimes you will get a notification that says someone was punished, but it won't say who or how.

It typically takes many games of getting reported to get punished except for the most extreme circumstances, so even if your report does contribute to a punishment, that punishment usually isn't until later.
