Reasons I hate League of Legends (and why its a good idea to quit)
Well first off, I love this game. Gameplay, champs, skins, the UI; I love almost everything about it. Almost everything. The most aggravating and absolutely abhorrent aspect of this MOBA is the community. I am sure I have met the worst people I will ever meet in my life time playing norms 5v5 in this game. Up until recently i chose to simply ignore the verbal abuse, ignorant comments, constant blaming, and even the hypocritical slander. When I did start noticing I usually spoke up. Bad move. Telling someone what they should do in this game is comparable to raising the devil from hell in the late 1600s. Lord forbid they duo que'd. The whole team will turn on you so quick you wont have time to back. Lord forbid they get the enemy team to believe you are at fault.
- General douchebags. More often than not, there is a complete asshole on your team. He is the one to roam as a supp, leaving you to die, and when you do die calls you "noob" and "bad". When asked to help, these jackasses most commonly will steal farm, kills, not help at all, or wait for you to die before doing anything. Trying to hold a conversation only fuels their crackrages in destroying you hope for playing another round. They like to seem nice initially but then tear you ass up with one liners such as "your mom" and "uninstall". In a recent game i lost horribly, a Jax top allowed a god Nasus to free farm for 15 minutes. He complained and whined all game but when i said don't let him farm early game, he shrugged it off. Naturally he tried to 1v1 Nasus and got his ass handed to him. In short, all he had to do was listen a little bit and it would have been a smooth top lane for him.
- Autolockers are some of the most indecent scumbags you can find. New champs, sexy skins, and new rotations prompt autolocker's trigger fingers. You may be lucky enough to pick the champ they want, but that wont stop them from begging until it ends in you giving up what they want or them dodging to try again. Throughout the game you may forget they autolocked if they are good. A rare but
- Metabreakers. Not necesarrily rule breakers, but these people will fuck your whole team comp up and blame it on how bad you are rather than the team's lack of any decent tank or ap or ad. "Fizz jung works" I'm sure it works but if you don't gank even once it doesnt matter who you jung with.
- Noobs are the worst you can meet on this game because they don't care about winning. They are "on their friends/brothers/sisters account" Many times you will have level 30s who are bronze V with 'noob' in their summoner name who play as such. Its really frustraiting when these are the people calling you bad and in the end reporting you for negative attitude, as if you were supposed to be cheery they are 0/13 and cost you at least 20 minutes of your life.
- The "we can do it"s. Your team is down buy 25 kills, you have an afk, the enemy has taken drag 4 times and you none, and its 45 minutes in BUT you have a duo who will do everything in their power to try to win. They spend every minute they arent feeding trying to split push with no wards and clicking 'No' when surrender votes come up. Ill admit there are times where i just want to end and we are down but the surrender doesnt go through and we do win, but its a 3/10 chance.
- "I cant supp" The worst and most frequent excuse made by those who wont autolock (not yet at least) and didnt whip their hamsters hard enough to get in champ select quickly enough. If you dont know how to play all 5 roles, you have no business playing ranked.
- The sarcastic jerks that tell you that you shouldnt expect the community to be a utopia. Admittedly, no community is perfect. But to be constantly bombarded game after game and endure countless losses and ignorance is outrageous.
(I had to make this dull essay even slightly amusing, even if it was a shitty cliche)
P.S. There is plenty of mature language. Be mature about it. P.P.S If you are going to be a smart ass and comment "Tldr" know that nobody asked you to be here (I feel like i missed a lot but I'm tired and maybe I'll get around to editing later.)
