Report Feature Spreading Toxicity?

I'd like to share something that's been frustrating me for a while. The last few months I've been encountering a lot more toxicity in games. But it hasn't been the the form of verbal abuse or intentional feeding. In the last, I'd say 100-200 games I've played in, both my friends and I have been receiving reports for everything from negative attitude to verbal abuse etc... The issue I have is that in nearly every case there has been no name calling, or trash talking, or early GG's and all that annoying stuff that SHOULD be reportable. Now I can't speak for my friends, but when I used the chat i DO use it to try to help my team develop a strategy for winning that particular game. Now pardon me if I'm a little bit annoyed in this text as the last game I was in I seem to have been reported for trying to offer our jungler a few tips on dodge thresh hooks after I had seen her run in a straight line away from thresh rather than try to dodge side to side. Now I don't feel the need to sugar coat the words I'm using since none of them are considered offensive. I said to her, "Shyv, you've got to try to dodge side to side. If you run in a straight line you're going to get hooked every time. It's cost us two fights now." Now you probably think, "I'm sure theres other reasons you were reported noob." No, I only said ONE thing the entire game. Okay now you're probably like, "well then you've got nothing to worry about" I thought the same thing. However, I was just issued an 85 game ban from chat and a 35 game ban from ranked play. This leads me to believe riot doesn't actually look at the language or behavior, but just the amount of reports issued. And for someone like me, who doesn't feel the need to walk on egg shells when playing a game and trying make every soul feel like their are LCS level, this is causing issues. Again, sorry I'm just ranting and rambling here. But I believe this needs to be given some thought. This isn't little league baseball where everyone needs to get a trophy and feel like they are the best. No one deserves to be berated into the ground, but that doesn't seem to be what's being targeted by reports. Anyway, sorry for the size of the post. GL HF

SPACE BAR. hit it. like three times. When people see this size they are turned away, but spacing it out makes it easier.

also sadly you were probaly being toxic in some way that you cant remeber (spamming pings, spamming chat, demanding team to report someone, or more toxic behavior). Ask riot for chat logs to see why you got the ban.
