really need a new laptop for gaming and for everyday stuff and i dont know if this is a good pick.

Depends on what you plan to do. For league only, get that I guess but if you want to play all the hardcore games, get some thing way better
ok, since you ignored my question: you should be able to run LoL on medium-high+ other games that aren't too cpu or gpu heavy (civilization V, CSGO maybe even etc...), will also run on pretty high Everyday use- very good newer games with really good graphics- (GTA 5, battlefield 4) will run on lower settings with playeable fps

The only downside is that it's running a Intel graphics card. It probably won't handle very high settings pretty well.
If that's not a problem, it should be fine for league at least.
