Garen is like poppy and yorick and darius
needs to stay gutted, horseshit to play against when viable.
Seriously. Removing E slow. Making ult do 1.2k+ damage to people with 100+ mr because of vilian tard buff

But they all have very defined weaknesses. Garen's already horrendous engage potential was nerfed, and he offers very little CC for a toplane tank. Poppy's laning phase is so bad that she loses to AKALI pre-6. Yorick becomes more or less an ult-bot late game, although he can split-push effectively.
Try playing someone who is actually good at kiting and you shouldn't have many issues with Garen, at least unless you like to face check bushes.
