Team builder loves the meta, and hates creative playstyles

I recently discovered, while choosing a champion in team builder, that when i matched a champion with what role they were suggested by riot, and what role they are generally played, i got much shorter wait times. If i chose Pantheon fighter top,i got a long wait time, and if i put in Jax fighter top, my wait time was very short. How is it fair that i am forced to wait about 3 times as long to get a game, just because i don't follow the meta. Even trying to play Rengar fighter top, gets me a very long wait time, and Sion fighter top, gets me a very short wait time. The biggest problem however, is for champions like Elise. No matter what role or position I pick for Elise my wait time is very long. From jungle mage or fighter, to mid lane Mage, to top lane tank, its basically impossible to play Elise without waiting for a ridiculously long Que. Why. Why does wanting to play Rengar top or Elise anywhere put me in a very long Que. Riot don't try to force players to conform to the meta. Let me play Rengar top if I want to without needing to wait 10 mins to get a game.
