Is it still possible for me to get Diamond???

I am currently Plat 4, but I've gotten to Plat 3 a couple times. I keep getting promoted then demoted, over and over. I still REALLY want to get Diamond....am I just wasting my time? I feel like Plat is so inconsistent, making it really hard to climb. I'll win a few games, and they'll be great games, but then I'll lose that lp right away because I get an afk 2 games in a row. Sooooo, any opinions on if I should keep trying, or just give up?

I feel like a lot of people are desperately scrambling to rank up last minute and muddying the player pool with rusty players. As soon as they announced the season's end it felt to become noticeably worse. In other words; you have time, but it might be harder than it would've been earlier in the season.
