im a little upset with this to be honst. i would much rather wait mins to get the position i want then to be thrown into a position that i have no will or want to play. i thought this system was going to fix alot of problems with people getting the position they wanted. at this rate Riot might as well go back to the other system. and if anyone from riot reads this PLZ make another game type for ranked, so we can wait for the positions we want.
I know alot of players that would wait then to be forced into an unwanted position.
Bring back the old ranked draft. Where people had to call their lanes the moment they go into the room. I'm sick of people QQ-ing about autofill, if you can't play all lanes, then don't play ranked.
You cant. If they get rid of it the problem with queue times will cause a feedback loop on itself. Right now, it hits a threshold and pushes matches to start so the line can keep moving a bit. If you get rid of it what will happen is the queue will pile up waiting on supports till all supports are in matches. Then the line will grow in time to the ratio of that position to support. For instance if twice as many queue mid as support, the wait will be the length of a match. If three times, then the wait will be the length of two matches. If 4x, length will be 3 match lengths.
To avoid this rediculous wait time they have to shove matches through.
