Constructive idea: Read a book.
You should be able to multi task in game so semi multi tasking by productively reading something the "match made" sound goes off should be no problem. Queue will pop before you know it and you will be a little bit smarter having read something.
You can't control Riot so don't try to, it'll be WAY less stressful for you
