BIG Idea to enhance the game we all love, and bring a spotlight on the worlds of LOL
I Have an Idea. What is one of the parts of LOL that we all wish was better?
More accountability for players that make this game not as fun. Unfortunately the veil of the digital world brings out the worst in some players.
What is an aspect of the game that is SUPER COOL, but hard to get into ?
because of all the reading and searching for plot stories and character development the worlds and lore of the game flies under the radar. As players, we all love the videos and animations that make the game different each time we play. Like Vi interaction with Caitlyn, and many others.
I believe I have a BIG idea to pull these two components together and add something to LOL that EVERYONE would absolutely love.
What if instead of a boring loading screen with a rune tab, masteries tab, and options to choose game modes tab... There was an interactive world that players entered (piltover city or whatever) and summoners chose their skin they wanted to be walking around town as???
Instead of a rune tab... you have a rune shop with a vendor, instead of a masteries tab you had a fun interactive way to set up skill trees. And there were actual "que masters" that you talked to that were in different parts of the city for the different game modes.
I know that is a lot of work for just some cool features, but I believe if you developed a good city vs a bad city and upon setting up accounts you chose which city you wanted to belong. Only being able to choose skins that belong to that faction (to walk around in the que and set up process)
The second thing it would do is bring to life the community outside of matches. People could form "guilds" or when you are walking to a que area you could talk with chat bubbles above your head strategy with your duo que partner. Better yet, find new friends to play with. There could be penalties for reports/toxic players. Like have to run around with a dunce cap on or something (i know, bad example, but you get the idea)
This is just the start of the conversation. Add to the conversation by replying and upvoting. What if we could reach the developers and show them how cool this would be. We could be a part in making the game we all love that much better.
Here are some other ideas:
-World events (like the frostmourn or whatever could actually be an area you teleport to) -mini games -Skill drills ( working on micro mchanics... like a super huge AI mob that you have to -kite to teach adc how to attack move. Or dummies that move and try to dodge skill shots to help with skill shot champs) -players that have a bad reputation are barred from certain parts of the city. Adding a real accountability factor. Some people just flame just enough to not get banned. Sometimes these are the worst players. -tribunal is an actual room where you walk up to a judges seat to enter the tribunal interface. -Have the summoner showcase people that love to be all artsy have an area that they can show off a "portfolio" of files they can upload of their cosplay or clay figures.
WHAT DO YOU THINK? I am thinking a little World of Warcraft'ish I was a devout player of the battlegrounds and you didnt have the problem of toxic players like you can with LOL. Lets all play a part in making this game EVEN BETTER!
