Let me introduce myself in terms of League itself, I am known under the username Wister270, well to be quite honest I am not "known" and this is honestly one of my first ever posts on the forums/boards. To get straight to the point, my name is Wister Li (yes, Wister or my Chinese name Wen) I am currently attending high school, senior year to be specific. I am also in the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) which is why I need your help. As some of you might know (both personally being in the program, or those who have heard of it), the IBDP is a decently rigorous program and free time is limited from both heavy workload and the ever looming CAS hours and project. For those that have never heard of the IBDP or even the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), it's a bit like AP classes but full devotion to those harder classes in order to create University level expectations in high school. In order to graduate and obtain the diploma, you must complete 150 CAS hours and at least 1 project. CAS stands for Creativity, Action and Service. Sadly I have all the hours that I need but no CAS project. CAS projects are very different than just normal CAS activities (volunteering, arts, and sports to list a few), they need to be extensive, encompassing around 1 semester's worth of time, they need to involve at the bare minimum 2 of the three: Creativity, Action and Service. Lastly, they need to involve leadership and teamwork.

This is where League comes in. I have logged at least 700 hours on League since I started playing half way through Season two and it's rare to be able to involve CAS with something that I had already been doing for some time. However, my CAS coordinator recently (today actually) has given the approval for me to actually go through with my idea for a CAS project. Hilariously, the release of the PROJECT skins coincided with my idea and hence the name of this post is PROJECT CAS. Anyways, my idea was to have a ranked team (3's or 5's or a blend of the two), which I would lead and I would start a fundraiser/charity drive. For every Division I advance, I would donate $4 of my own money and for every tier, I would donate $10, so $30 per full tier (of course if we skip tiers or divisions, I will still use those in my calculations). I know it is quite unreasonable to ask for this but any and all support would be much appreciated. Support, whether it be monetary donations (all of it is going to local charities in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada or to go to less fortunate schools to have computers) or verbal support, I can not stress enough, would be extremely appreciated.

Let me put this in perspective: There are at least 13 million league players (based off of the likes the Facebook page has) and if every one of those players donated at least: 1 cent - $130 000 5 cents - $650 000 10 cents - $1.3 million 25 cents - $3.25 million 50 cents - $6.5 million 1 dollar - $13 million 5 dollars - $65 million 10 dollars - $130 million

I’m not asking that everyone donate, I just want to put into perspective how much numbers matter. League of Legends is the most played video game in the world, and with these numbers, even a small amount, even a penny from everyone could make improve the lives of those who would receive money whether it be the homeless, the less fortunate (schools and families).

I don't have a stream sadly, my internet can't actually handle me playing (with decent ping) and streaming but I will definitely post pictures and updates on the gofundme page and the facebook page. Thank you though, I really felt that there was nobody who would even verbally back my idea. :D

Ah darn haha. Oh well. I joined the group. I think it's really cool what you're doing. I've always had this vision growing up that if I we're stupidly rich I'd walk around Toronto and hand out decent sums of money to homeless people haha. Your doing that, with a tad more organization. :P

XD I was wondering who it was, thanks. I guess that's true, I really feel as though it is necessary for those who have to donate to those who don't. Perhaps that's because of my partially left wing bias, but to be honest, I couldn't imagine what it would be like in their shoes and frankly, others who feel that way should really be more understanding.

Really though. Can't stress that statement enough. The ridiculous amount of crap we complain about doesn't come close to a realistic comparison. I always hate seeing a homeless man or a woman with a couple of pets. I just want to give them a home, but I can't.

I was in the States a little while ago visiting Nashville. There was a man carrying a sign on the side of a busy road. It said "Wife pregnant, laid off work, can't afford bills, need help". I will never ever forget that guy, and how much I wanted to buy him a house and give him a job. When I'm financially stable and no longer have negative $40,000 because of university I really want to help someone who deserves it.

Long story short though, I'm with you! Hopefully your project gets big! :)

Thanks, I've sent an email to Riot's personal stories email and all I can do is hope that they'll say "good luck" or something of the sort. Reiterating once again (XD) I can tolerate it if nobody's willing to donate, I just need verbal support. Thank you, I really hope that it does as well. :D

Thanks. Actually, IB isn't that bad. I mean I have predicted 7's in half of my classes and at least 5's in the others. but thanks for the feed back :)

For my CAS I did a 2-week charity trip to Tanzania, basically wiped all of it out lol

It was actually a school-organized thing you just had to sign up and fundraise xp

just an idea for you to record the games using some free recording software if you can, i'm sure that you'd get much more support if people could see the games happening

Silver 2 after 4/5 victories, not too shabby now ($30 from passing bronze tier entirely and $22 for the division jump in silver). (2.5 hours + Updated the gofundme page + I'll try to upload the videos onto youtube and post the link to the channel here)

Hey everyone, I knew I was forgetting to update something. XD Anyways, I have now raised up $156 and will be donating the majority of it in roughly 2 weeks time. The rest will be stockpiled as my fundraiser is going until the end of March. I have chosen to do so as the you know, the winter months are fast approaching. In a time of cold and dark, people who are less fortunate will be visiting food banks and I feel obligated to make sure to do whatever I can to see that the stockade of the food bank is not diminished. With the majority of the $156, perhaps $125-140, I can increase the amount of families or persons who have access to food over the winter months or increase the amount of food or quality of food they get.
