PROJECT: CAS Activated. (Fundraising for charities/CAS Project for an IB student)

Let me introduce myself in terms of League itself, I am known under the username Wister270, well to be quite honest I am not "known" and this is honestly one of my first ever posts on the forums/boards. To get straight to the point, my name is Wister Li (yes, Wister or my Chinese name Wen) I am currently attending high school, senior year to be specific. I am also in the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) which is why I need your help. As some of you might know (both personally being in the program, or those who have heard of it), the IBDP is a decently rigorous program and free time is limited from both heavy workload and the ever looming CAS hours and project. For those that have never heard of the IBDP or even the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), it's a bit like AP classes but full devotion to those harder classes in order to create University level expectations in high school. In order to graduate and obtain the diploma, you must complete 150 CAS hours and at least 1 project. CAS stands for Creativity, Action and Service. Sadly I have all the hours that I need but no CAS project. CAS projects are very different than just normal CAS activities (volunteering, arts, and sports to list a few), they need to be extensive, encompassing around 1 semester's worth of time, they need to involve at the bare minimum 2 of the three: Creativity, Action and Service. Lastly, they need to involve leadership and teamwork.

This is where League comes in. I have logged at least 700 hours on League since I started playing half way through Season two and it's rare to be able to involve CAS with something that I had already been doing for some time. However, my CAS coordinator recently (today actually) has given the approval for me to actually go through with my idea for a CAS project. Hilariously, the release of the PROJECT skins coincided with my idea and hence the name of this post is PROJECT CAS. Anyways, my idea was to have a ranked team (3's or 5's or a blend of the two), which I would lead and I would start a fundraiser/charity drive. For every Division I advance, I would donate $4 of my own money and for every tier, I would donate $10, so $30 per full tier (of course if we skip tiers or divisions, I will still use those in my calculations). I know it is quite unreasonable to ask for this but any and all support would be much appreciated. Support, whether it be monetary donations (all of it is going to local charities in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada or to go to less fortunate schools to have computers) or verbal support, I can not stress enough, would be extremely appreciated.

Let me put this in perspective: There are at least 13 million league players (based off of the likes the Facebook page has) and if every one of those players donated at least: 1 cent - $130 000 5 cents - $650 000 10 cents - $1.3 million 25 cents - $3.25 million 50 cents - $6.5 million 1 dollar - $13 million 5 dollars - $65 million 10 dollars - $130 million

I’m not asking that everyone donate, I just want to put into perspective how much numbers matter. League of Legends is the most played video game in the world, and with these numbers, even a small amount, even a penny from everyone could make improve the lives of those who would receive money whether it be the homeless, the less fortunate (schools and families).
