Who thinks that characters like: @, any money symbols such as $, ¥ etc. should be added as possible characters in summoner names in all regions.

It was for a short time. They removed it
No worries. Riot didnitntonorote name diversity Notice the boards. You get names like Caitlyn, C@itlyn,Càitlyn. Annîe Bot, Annie Böt, etc etc and Riot didn't like that. They didn't make people change names. But removed the ability from the system
