It was fun to dust off the ol' Gnar top. I stopped playing it ages ago back in season 4 after I hit diamond. Who else out there has gotten M7 on their favorite champ? Post below!

Combine 2 Mastery tokens with a champ shard of the same champ, OR the champ permanent of the same champ, OR 500 blue essence, to unlock Level 6 Combine 3 Mastery tokens with a champ shard of the same champ, OR the champ permanent of the same champ, OR 600 blue essence, to unlock Level 7

I keep seeing mention of "champ permanent". What is that? Is that when you own the champ? Or is there some shard related thing to which that refers.

Having the same problem. The requirements are 2 tokens and 1 Champion Permanent. The large animation displays 2/2 tokens and 0/1 in the other category (champion permanent). Now, I can only assume "champion permanent" does not mean owning the champion. What the heck does it mean? I do own Leona, and don't want to have to wait for a lucky champ shard in a chest, or waste blue essence to unlock the achievement. I put in a support ticket. Hopefully we'll get some answers soon. Very frustrating.

When it comes to champion shards, from what I understand, there are 2 different forms: the one that requires essence to make (non permanent) and the other that doesn't require essence to make (permanent). Champ permanent means having the permanent form of the champion shard- or the shard that doesn't require essence. This is my best guess.

A champ or skin permanent is what you get when you reroll three champ shards/skin shards. It's basically the same thing as a champ/skin shard but you don't need to pay essence to unlock the content.

Do you only get the tokens form winning because I just got S- from a loss and no token?

Can't answer that specifically as I've only gotten S rank when I won. Are you trying to rank up to 6 from 5 or are you trying to rank up to 7 from 6? Because to get to rank 7 you need S or S+. A S- won't give you a token for obtaining rank 7.

Interesting. It appears as if losing doesn't give you the token. Which, from what it sounds like, should not be intended. Has this happened again or to anyone else that you know?

I just got a chat restriction, so even when I do get a champ I play to rank 5, I can't get them any higher because the tokens are considered hextech loot and thus can't be earned when restricted.
