I am curious... why? Was it because I got upset at someone insulting my family? Or when I got told my sister was going to get raped? Or was it when I was gonna get raped?
I say this, because this is what I responded to - and I'm the one chat restricted...

All chat is is a bunch of 8 year old shitlings that talk shit but can't handle getting shit talked in return. Might as well get rid of chat all together.
lol they ban you if you get reported and you have tripped the sensors with a phrase or words you have used... I always use sarcasm now to avoid getting unfairly banned. Rengar comes to gank my lane and doesnt jump from a bush, just rolls right on down throws his slow, misses, then walks away. I say "you are really good, rengar" makes me feel better, and i don't get banned. It sucks that they have taken the human out of actually investigating what happened but thats the truth.

Riot does not issue chat "bans". You will have restricted chat, meaning you can only type a limited number of messages per match. You start with a few and then gain one every few minutes. You can also use smart pings normally.

From the limited information you have given it doesn't sound like your punishment was unjust. You don't get punished for being upset, you get punished for how you behave. If someone said something about your sister or you being raped that is unacceptable as well but that does not give you a free pass to do what ever you want. Unless that threat included your address then there isn't any reason to care about it. Just ignore/mute and report at the end.
Anyone mind telling me the words that can get a normal Joe banned? I played a game, and even though I could speak most the time, which was a pain in the ass mind you - most of what I said was "gg" "nj" "wd" - I'll bet you my scrotrum I'm a false positive.
So how do I go about my appeal?
We can't really judge you if you're innocent or not, unless you post your Reform Card/Chat Logs here. From what I see, you must have been twice as toxic to get chat restricted.
Jesus. Ultimately I can't believe MY behavior, after all I've seen grants me a 30 GAME CHAT BAN - I know for a fact I didn't use racial slurs, nor did I gender ones. Jesus what did I say?
I hate to be the guy that says it but you can't respond to these kids, I'm not sure if you instigated the fight but if they're saying things like that to you and you flagged it, they at the very least got an account suspension, I'm sure riot took into consideration that you were retaliating to such harsh comments, which is why you got this slap on the wrist.
Either mute them and report them later, or don't stoop to their level and civilly work your problem out with them so that you have some chance of winning that game. Responding with toxic comments back only makes the game worse.
Raped my sister, I am very exceptional to that. If that guy said such to my face - I'd beat him. I don't care how big I'd try. Sigh. At least I can defend my sister.
Hold people accountable Riot, dont just randomly ban or chat ban people. This is a community, one I was involved it - not gonna lie, not threatening either, but I think I'm done. This wasn't merited! And I got people thinking I'm wrong.

Please Riot release my chats - I do hope you give context. Sigh, they won't though - so it's hear say. But the sad thing is I'm right.
