How to deal with soloq losing and ridicule? Getting from Silver 4 to Gold: Need advice

Hi, I am a Silver 4 player who has lost his promo series for the 8th time today, and it's really getting tiring. I really love winning and whenever I get to my promo series I'm usually on a winstreak, but I always end up losing. A few mnths ago, I was very close to gold over 50 LP in Silver 1 and above all my friends, now even though they are my friends, it sort of hurts to be where I am right now with them laughing at me and all that, any advice?

Ignore your rank and focus on minimizing mistakes. Divisions mean nothing, just keep trying to win, a promo is just like any other match. If you;re ending win streaks in promo its probably because you're stressing out. Just relax and do your best.

(Warning, this is advice from someone who is B4)

First off, work on mechanics. You want to get last hitting down if you're a laner, ADC especially. Go into bot games against a sivir bot, and try to keep her below half health while getting CS. Try for 80 in 10 mins. Also work on positioning and communication. Positions varry based on champion and role. Also, make sure when you do something, your team understands what you're doing and why.

Have good mechanics, Map Awareness (glance at that little sucker every 2-3 seconds), and be proactive in taking objectives when you have an advantage. Knowing how to make calls and when to make them will get you far. Also be a good teammate, happy teammates make for a good time.
