Playing League with a broken arm, should i try or let myself be demoted?

Okay, so my arm will be in a cast for 4 weeks now. I reached platinum 2 weeks ago, and took a break from league for a while. Now here i am with a broken right arm and i don't know if i should go into a ranked game and play like crap or should i just let myself demote? So the question is, will it be fine if i play like a drunk person a few games, or will i be instantly punished? I have had a 2 week ban around 2 months ago, so i've been trying to stay out of trouble but this is too big of an obstacle to play normally.

Play a few co-op vs AI games (as boring as that might sound) to check if you're still playing up to par. If you're not then I'd probably take the break to heal up. It might be more tilting if you get demoted because your gameplay isn't at its usual level due to the literal handicap. ;D

Do you have an elo goal? Or are you just thinking 'as long as I stay at least gold for end of year rewards I'm good"? Because likely you will drop a bit. But thats fine. Nothing against playing as you are. Everyone has slumps. Yours is just a tad more obvious.

Don't intentionally feed and don't intentionally lose games. It's not fair for you and it's definitely not fair for your teammates who are trying to climb and reach their desired rank.

If you can't play at all. Wait until you are healed and then play.

You will not lose MMR, so you can easily climb back to plat if your elo decays. If you belong in plat, you will climb back.
