Ranked duo with booster consequences?
Hello, I understand riot can detect and punish boosters (players playing on another players account to improve their rank). However, if someone were to duo with a booster, would they be punished? Thanks

Not sure if Riot would punish someone for being guilty by association. Personally, I don't think queuing with someone who is intentionally boosting would be punishable by permaban. Maybe warning or time ban? Definitely frowned upon though.
Well it wont help them that much, you would end up having the lower skilled player have to play with people above him in skill which is infact going to make it harder for him to win, not to mention how much the MMR of the higher skilled player would tank for each loss :)
Duo queue is not punishable. The account getting boosted by the person who is at a diamond skill level could be punished, but the guy on his own account wouldn't get in trouble, I don't think. I could be wrong though.
they should improve the punish booster tool too because im a silver player and got a warning of account booster because ive had so much good games in a row and got reported for boosting (6 games in a row of around 10 k/d ratio) and now if i have too much good games, i must suck at the next one so i wont get banned... i'm just following the advices my diamond friend gave me to boost up my elo
