If you wanna climb, you have to enjoy the game first. The only thing you can do to get better is put time in the game. If you're not enjoying it, you're only ruining the experience for yourself.
It's like a fighting game. You can't hop in, play for a month and expect to beat any veterans that sank 2+ years of hardcore training into the game. Even if they aren't on the professional level, they're probably still mid-high tier players. Same goes for league.
Choose what you want to work on and climb from there. There are champs you legit don't have to sink more than 2hours in to completely learn how their kit works, what they can and can't take and where your spikes are at + when your damage falls off as well as their win conditions. You learn champs like those, scrap mechanical output and spend more time doing what you have to do, whiles brushing up on your knowledge game, you can climb through sheer knowledge even if your base mechanics is shit.
