League of Legends turning Cartoony?

Ever since the release of the new ARAM map and the roaring hype of the poro creations i felt as though League of Legends was migrating from a serious state of themes to a sort of "Hey lets do this and we'll make more money" theme. The idea of poro's is just cartoony. Now this year with all this Poro-Mass Chaos and the Sejuani skin just killed it. Anyone else feeling this? I understand how some find it entertaining and like it but like damn.
