Hi I have just began taking league seriously a little more than a week ago. I have a friend that was playing with me and each game he seemed to switch roles and champs every game. I was just wondering that because I am a noob should i start doing that to learn about champions? Should i have one champion for each role and learn it because i know in ranked that if someone chooses my main then i have to have a back up. Idk if i should choose between having multiple champs ADC/BOT or having a champ each role and maybe 2 for bot lane adc.

Sorry if i make u cringe if im saying stuff wrong.

Well when team builder was around you could pick the exact role and champ and practice it, so it was really easy to use it to practice champs and lanes, but now you get a 50/50 chance on the lane you want. soooo yes, you should indeed learn every lane and role, as well as multiple champs for those roles incase one of them gets banned.

In the end it'll take a while to learn it all, but it'll be worth it and you can go anywhere without fear!

Your best bet is like you said, to find a champ you like in each role, and focus on them. Having more than one ADC isnt nessecary. Focus everything youve got into getting good with those champs so you can always play them and win reliably. You can start to broaden put once youve gotten the hang of playing ADC in general.

If you want reliable, fairly easy champs for a low price: ADC: Twitch Twitch or Ashe Ashe Top: Jax Jax or Chogath Chogath Mid: Ryze Ryze or Lux Lux Jungle: Rammus Rammus or Fiddlesticks Fiddlesticks Supp: Soraka Soraka or Karma Karma

Also, just a personal pet peeve, its nicer and easier to read if you use "you" in these forums

Do not worry about ranked till you have a boat load of games under your belt, a very common mistake i see new players do is jump right into ranked at 30.

What i would tell you to do is find your two favorite roles by playing around (using free champ rotation to try out champs, switching roles often till you find your spot) and then begin to work on your champ pool in those roles.
