Ekko Bat Project

So I've wanted a replica of Ekko's sword, club, cricket bat thing for a while now (my friend says its a plasma sword but it has nicks and dents...) The only problem is that all the ones on sites like etsy are CRAZY expensive. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some materials so i can make my own. Specifically for the core handle and a nice translucent plastic for the "blade" and pommel(?)
