In game stuff for Merch

So i was thinking with the merch store doing seemingly well and with alot of games doing something similar; wouldn't it be cool if Riot put a code for an ingame item with their merch ? For example: the TF2 figures al have a code for an ingame hat or cosmetic item and all of them are different. Since the figures already come with a authenticity card i think this would be easy to do even for people who already bought these products. Not asking for something fancy but i mean it would be just cool of Riot to put like a Chroma Pack or a free mystery gift or maybe even just a specialised Summoner Icon that people can use in game to show off that they actually have the merch and support Riot doing this. This is just my opinion tho, lemme know what you think and if it would be possible.
