I was wondering why my account keeps being paired up with gold-diamond players in matches im level 30 unranked, its been happening alot in the past week, i dont necessarily mind it cause its good practice but just wondering why its like this? and i always check they are never in a duo with a lower elo player
A few reasons. There are less players in normals and even less in team builder. The players there aren't exactly playing at their peak. Some are drunk, some are trying new champions, and some are just flat out trolling. You could also be at a gold+ level mmr.
This happened to me when I was unranked, most of my games would have at least 3 plat players (usually on the enemy team ;-;)
This changed as soon as I got myself into silver. I don't know if it's my rank or if I just started playing like crap, but I'm matched against people closer to my level now.
