All hail Kiss!

I think Kiss is awesome too, to support the industry I just buy anime related video games and games by Japanese devs. I love how so many great games are coming to PC, I already got Storm 3 and Rev on Steam and Storm 4 when it comes out, DBZ xenoverse, and Dead or Alive 5 looks great too.

You're supporting the gaming industry more than the anime industry. THey're not always made by the same people and the licenses aren't always worth that much by that point. Only a small portion actually makes it to the anime industry when you buy an anime-related game.

Especially through Steam, when you take Valve's cut out of the equation as well... but it's good that you're buying something. But buying one thing doesn't justify stealing other things. "I'm supporting the candy industry by buying from those gumball machines, but I shoplift all my chocolate bars" isn't really a strong argument ;)

Or subscribe to a legitimate site like Crunchyroll, and support the industry so it doesn't go to shit in this age of easy piracy over the internet. I'm not saying you're a terrible person for using illegal sites to stream/download, but getting a legit subscription or purchasing the shows at a later time to support what you want more of is a good idea.

At the bottom of kissanime's site it states this: From 2012 - 2014 KissAnime.com. Copyrights and trademarks for the anime, and other promotional materials are held by their respective owners and their use is allowed under the fair use clause of the Copyright Law.

So if you were to pay them 10 USD a year for premium service (no ads), wouldn't you technically be supporting the industry? Or even by just browsing the site because sites make more money off of traffic and ads.

No.

This is the "Trademark Fair Use" clause (which allows them to use general trademark imagery), not the more commonly known "Fair Use" (which refers to the right to display the content).

That money is going to kissanime, nobody else.

Oh, and, since Kissanime is an illegal site, you might as well skip the middle man and just torrent your shows; that way you aren't funding pirates that directly profit from Kissanime subs and give nothing to the owners.

You could also support the industry by buying anime video games, such as Naruto and Dragon Ball Z games. Those titles usually have online modes so its worth buying them and playing with friends.

If anyone hasn't already watched this show, I personally thought it was one of the best anime of 2014 that completed in that same year, meaning no sequel is planned. Prequels don't count.

I'd rather pay for my anime. They produce amazing content and they deserve to be paid for it.

Where do you pay for your anime? Do you use crunchyroll or do you just buy the DVD's/Bluray's?

Crunchyroll/Funimation/Netflix(Hulu too if it ever becomes available in Canada), and occasionally dvd/bluray when I really love a show.

Good thing about hulu is that u don't need subscription to watch most of their stuff in web browser.

same thing for Crunchyroll, you just get the stuff earlier and in higher quality if you subscribe(which to me is worth it)

Hulu doesn't punish u with lower quality if u're not subscribed.

It's not a punishment, it's a reward. Everyone gets the basics, the people who pay get the good quality.

Seems logical to me.
