Not wanting gifts
this may sound odd but is there a way to NOT receive gifts from other people? i really dont want people sending me skins/champs etc.

Well, no, but if you get a champion you don't want you can submit a Support Ticket and ask them to remove it. Unless you're limiting your champion pool for ARAM I don't see why you'd do that though.
