I come from germany so I hope you can understand what I want to ask xD. What is the most common english word for a person who is always getting blamed? In germany it is called "Sündenbock" and google translator translates it with "scapegoat" "whipping boy" and "petsy". Which of those is the word you normally use or is there another one?

dont listen to jon, the correct term is scapegoat.

scapegoat is what you would call someone that gets blamed for EVERYTHING when stuff goes bad.

like the jungler in most losing games is the scapegoat.

like jews were the scapegoat in ww2 or kurds were for saddam hussein.

not to offend just giving examples of when you would use scapegoat.
