What's up with having to wait 20 min after leaving a queue? Yo, I'm not in a match yet. I'm not messing things up for others. But yall wanna make someone wait 20 min for leaving queue but the whole reason I left was to play with friends. Why throw somebody directly in queue after that long when you know they waited that long and may have other plans that playing with randoms? Somebody help me understand cuz I'm about over it. Shit's dumb frfr.
It's a punishment that helps you and or people who dodges/leaves game to not do it more often in the near future.
Like how chat restrictions are there to help people not be toxic/spamming and or flaming others.
Riot takes into account previous leaver busters so for instance if today you left a queue/lobby. It's fine, you can re-join with no wait. Do it a second time they probably will let you off again. A third time will be given you a 5 minute timed out of being able to join games/queues. it will add up the more you dodge/leave.
Imagine playing the game or joining a queue and someone's internet disconnected/cat unplugged power cord/etcs, whatever the case is Riot wants to prevent other gamers from having people who disconnect often.
Think in perspective. Would you want to play with people who afk/disconnect often in games? This is one means to and end. Obviously it isn't the best method of handling but it is working for now until something better comes up.
