Hextech Crate Items.

I have a brief question about the new Hextech system of crates and I am sure some of my fellow summoners feel the same way.
I own every champ in the game, However I am given a champion shard in one of my crates. This is 100 percent pointless to me. Now, I am not one to complain about getting free items in the first place. (I got Ather Wing Kayle in my 2nd Box) However, this certainly discourages me from buying any amount of keys or crates because I have a decent chance to get a champion shard that does not benefit me whatsoever. I would be wasting my money on something I already have.

There should be some change to account for this. I propose that only shards of champions you do not own should be awarded as well as the random re-rolls.

The other option is if you still lack champions you can be awarded with shards of champions owned to be used to convert to essence for a champion now owned.

If you own all champions you just receive Ward skins, skins, and icons.

A positive of this is that players loyal to the game will be rewarded for being so, and have incentive to buy Chest and Key Packs for good reason!

This is just my take! Like I said, I am not the one to complain about free things already, however, there is a better way to do this. Thank you Rito for all that you already do.
